Little Bear Cabin Area
Rough it a little less rough in a 1938 cabin with views of the Gallatin Valley
Stands of mixed conifers surround this cabin and riding opportunities abound nearby. One of the closest riding areas to our shop. Grizzly bears, gray wolves, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, deer and mountain lions frequent the area. The cabin itself sits on a grassy knoll with panoramic views of the Bridger Range.

Trail description and things to know for this area:
- Part of a vast network of forest service roads and trails
- No water available in the cabin
- Due to bear activity, food storage is a must
- Cell service is limited
- Pack out what you pack in — no trash service

ATVs, side by sides (some restrictions apply) for summer trail access
What to bring:
Camera, GoPro, drinks, lunch/snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent and sunglasses.
