How much does it cost?
Prices vary with different types of equipment and length of rental. To secure a reservation for all rentals, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit over the phone or full payment if you book online.

Will I lose my deposit if I cancel?
Yes, all deposits are non-refundable. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 48 hours prior to your rental, you will be charged in full. If you cancel outside of the 48 hours, you will only lose your 20% deposit.

Is safety equipment included?
Yes, helmets and goggles are included with every rental. Mountain snowmobiles come with a safety and convenience package that includes an avalanche beacon and a backpack with a shovel and an avalanche probe. You may rent winter gear packages for $40/person that include a one piece snowmobile suits, boots and gloves.

What are the ride times?
Ride times vary. All rentals must be returned no later than 4 PM. Rentals returned after 5 PM will be charged in full for another rental day.

Do the rentals come with a full tank of gas?
Yes, all rentals come with a full tank. For snowmobiles, you will be responsible for the cost of filling them back up. We do this for you and charge you the price of premium/gal for that day. All summer rentals include fuel.

Do you deliver? Pickup?
Depending on the situation, delivery and pick-up may be an option. Give us a call to discuss the details.

Where can we ride?
Our Big Sky rental shop is conveniently located behind the motel at the Corral Bar, Steakhouse & Motel. All rentals are ridden on the Buck Ridge trail system in the Gallatin National Forrest.

What are Summit ATR’s rental requirements?
You must be 25 years old with a valid driver’s license to rent any of our equipment. To operate any rental, you must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

What happens if I crash?
Bummer. We crash too. We’ll get over it. Just be honest with us and let us know what happened. We promise not to yell. We’ll work through it together with your needs in mind. But insurance helps. (See below.)

Do you offer insurance?
Yes, all rental prices include insurance. Deductibles vary depending on the machine rented. You may upgrade to premier protection to reduce the deductible. Call for more details.

Are there taxes?
Yes, Big Sky location has a 4% Resort Tax Winter and Summer. All Side by Side rentals pay a 4% Montana Recreation Tax.

Do you offer half-day rentals?
Yes, our Big Sky – Buck Ridge offers 2-hour and half-day options. Our Show Up and Ride winter adventures at Big Sky have 2-hour, half-day (4-hour), and full-day options available.
